# When does inventory update?

Syncio updates inventory upon an event that changes inventory in a connected store, so the updates are near-real-time.

Events that trigger inventory updates:

**Source store to destination store**

- Created order
- Manual adjustments

**Destination store to source store**

- Created order
- NOTE: Manual adjustments on the destination will not update to the source store
